Celebrations

This term the seniors are learning about celebrations. Yesterday we were learning about Easter. We learnt about what is Easter and why we celebrate it. I used google drawing to show what I learnt.

Kia ora,

My name is Missy and I am a year 8 student who attends Paihia School. My culture is Māori as well as Pakeha. My teachers are Whaea Chrissy and Whaea Becks.

The things that I enjoy most is participating in games like rugby and kio rahi and playing with my family and friends during school as well as out of school hours. Sometimes I find it difficult to stay on task because I always sit by my friends and talk to them, if I was to do that the teachers would have to remind me to stay focused.

My goals this term is to learn new things, help others if they need help and be a good role model to the junior students of Paihia School.

I’m really looking forward to the year 7 and 8 trip to wellington in week 5 this term. I can’t wait for all the opportunities that I will get when I go to high school. I’m excited to be able to show you my work in the future.
