Yesterday in Te Ngahere Whaea Gina came in to talk to us about fast food restaurants. We talked about healthy and unhealthy hearts, then she showed us the food labels with the amount of fat that you receive from each in little bottles. The ones that Whaea Gina recommended for us to eat are Subway, Sushi, sometimes butter chicken or going to the shop and buying some healthy food. The ones that she didn’t recommend for us to eat were Mcdonalds, KFC, Carl's Jr and Wendy’s. Did you know that Carl's Jr is the most unhealthy restaurant in New Zealand? There are 14 teaspoons of fat with each burger and chips. Next time someone offers me junk food like KFC, I might refuse to eat it.
