Bay Bush Action
Last week in Te Ngahere we had some Bay Bush Action members (Stella and Brad) come in and talk to us about the Ngahere and how our school can become the first pest free school in New Zealand. We all talked about the pests and threats to our native and endemic birds and they also showed us traps that they make to kill the pests. They gave us ten rat traps to set up all around the school and we have nothing so far. I enjoyed learning about the bush.
